Irish language courses that are specially designed to cater for the needs of adults at all learning stages. Each course contains two or more levels: beginner/ intermediate and advanced and is usually of one week’s duration. Our experienced teachers use graded courses, supported by modern audio-visual resources, as well as other proven methods of language teaching. The daily schedule consists of intensive morning tutorials with attention directed towards spoken Irish . Course material will draw on the rich resources of Island writers. This will help students develop their command of the Irish language. The aim will be to assist learners to progress and become fluent speakers of Irish bringing with them the rich language of the Island.
The afternoon sessions will allow participants use the language that they have learned while engaged in outdoor activities. This social format allow participants feel at ease and confident to use the Irish language in activities of interest to them. To extend conversational ability and fluency will be the main aim of our course.
