Activity Learning Culture Programme

Our language and activity courses cater for the needs of adults and families at all learning stages. We accept block-booking from groups that will focus on an activity while learning Irish. Participants will select from the following : hill walking, cycling, swimming, fishing, canoeing,
sean-nós singing, learning the tin whistle, knitting, and céilí dancing.

Activity Programme
Relax and unwind in this unique setting and enjoy some or all of the activities on offer:
Walking or cycling to sites of historical interests, Swimming in our blue flag beach, canoeing, learning about Island farming, Sean-nós singing, learn the tin whistle, learn how to knit an Aran jumper, and Céilí dancing.

Archaeology.
There are four divisions in the archaeological history of Inis Mór:
The Megalithic tombs, and standing stones from the Bronze Age.
The stone forts of Inis Mór are possibly the most impressive prehistoric remains of Celtic Europe. Thousands visit Dún Aonghasa during the summer.
Early Christian vestiges scattered throughout the island.
