About Us

Gaelfhios, pronounced (ge:l-is), in Irish and meaning Irish knowledge, is a company that provides learning and leisure activities which focus on the natural and cultural resources of the Aran Islands.

Gaelfhios is situated in the village of Gort na gCapall on the island of Inis Mór the largest of the three Aran Islands in County Galway, Ireland. In keeping with our ethos of leisure and learning Gaelfhios is delighted to offer you the following learning programme :
